Practice Research On Kindergarten's Creative Drama Activities Using Picture Books As The Theme Source

Creative drama activities in kindergartens are a kind of drama form which is improvisational and focuses on the process.Under the guidance of the leader,the participants reflect life experience through imagination and implementation,develop their creativity and experience the joy of acting.Picture books have the features of educative nature,interest,artistic quality and literariness and they have been internationally recognized as the most suitable for children' s books since the 21th century.If picture books can are combined with creative dramas to perform creative drama activities using picture books as the theme source,they surely can bring young children the most wonderful experience and the most vivid and intuitive feelings.This research adopted narrative research as the main research method.By performing creative drama activities in kindergartens using picture books as the theme source,it attempted to combine picture books and creative drama and realized the concrete connotation of creative drama in practice,hoping to promote young children's development in imagination,creativity and sociality through these activities.Based on the perception of the content of picture books,this research designed a series of creative drama activities,recorded young children's behaviors and reactions in the creative activities and the whole process of teachers organizing these activities and conducted necessary elaboration and discussion of the following issues:the educational value of creative drama activities,the principles and methods of carrying out creative drama activities using picture books as the theme source,selection of the picture books in creative drama activities,the characteristics of creative drama activities using picture book as the theme source and the considerations in carrying out these activities.Carrying out creative drama activities using picture books as the theme source can promote young children's development in many aspects and provide experience and knowledge of daily life for young children.It's an important means for young children to explore the outer world.During the whole process,young children,participating teachers and the designers of the activities are all important factors related to the effect of the activities.In the process of practice,teachers' professional skills can obtain better development.Through the collision of theory and practice,they can reflect on their own teaching ideas on a deeper level and realize transformation.
