On the basic of "summary and reflection" at the end of each chapter in current junior high school mathematics textbooks,they added instructions such as introductory remarks and questions or overview of this chapter on the head of chapters.Teaching design of chapter beginning classes attracts more and more attention by the majority of mathematics teachers.This reasearch takes the seventh grade mathematics textbooks(Jiangsu Edition)as the research object,the teaching of the beginning classes of some chapters as examples,analyzing teaching design of teachers how to teach,how to guide students to learn,how to choose teaching strategies of beginning classes for different classes,in order to provide reference of a good math chapter beginning class for teachers.This paper used the methods of literature research,comparative study,and questionnaire survey to analysis the seventh grade mathematics textbooks(volume 1 & 2),took questionnaire survey and analysis to all the students and some math teachers in Gang Xia and Zhang Jing junior middle schools.Through literature research and learning the relevant research on teaching of the starting classes for primary and secondary schools,we layed the foundation for the research of this topic.By the meaning of analysis for collected materials,comparative study of teaching cases,we determined the direction and ideas of this research.We attained teachers' and students' understanding of chapter beginning classes by questionnaires,analyzed and rethought the teaching case,summed up several characteristics of the seventh grade math beginning classes teaching by classroom observations of other teachers.In the end,we designed the teaching cases for five chapters' beginning classes of the seventh grade mathematics textbook,which is for teachers' reference.In view of the teaching design for the beginning of the seventh grade mathematics chapter,the conclusions of this research are:(1)Teachers should pay more attention to "learning" to promote "teaching",to build a framework of the further study for students;(2)Teachers should pay attention to "ability" to promote "teaching",for the development of core literacy of students;(3)Teachers should pay more attention to the "interest" to promote "teaching",for students to learn math fun;(4)Teachers should pay more attention to the "teaching materials" to promote "teaching",to lay the foundation for their own development.At last,the paper gives some suggestions on the further research of the beginning classes in junior high school mathematics teaching.
