A Research On University Students' Death Education

In recent years,with the rapid development of modern society, level of people's material life and living conditions have been improved.However,money worship, hedonism,individualism and other unhealthy thoughts in society is becoming gradually spread,some people's spiritual world is becoming more and more poverty.In the real world,Some people began to forget the inevitable outcome awareness of death that everybody is to have,and feel confused about the value and meaning of life,including some university students whoes life experience and self-adjustment ability are poor.With the university students' suicide,ignore life and frequently occurred, social sectors become interested in university students' death education present situation and existing problems.Since modern universities lack the attention to students' view on death,Death Education show the characteristics such as missing,fragmented and superficial.This characterization increased Thanatopsis alienation in university students. So we need to strengthen the Death Education in our higher education to help students face death,to reverence and cherish life.On this point,the thesis research the traditional view of Death,the Marxist Death Viewpoint,the content of the Death Education,the subjectivity of the Ideological and Political Education and so on,to further explore the theoretical link between the Death Education,the university students' Ideological and Political Education.Meanwhile,questionnaire will be used to observe the present situation of university students' Thanatopsis and Death Education.Then to analysis the main problems of the contemporary university students' Death Education according to the questionnaire, to put forward solutions to the problems of the contemporary university students' Death Education.The thesis is divided into five main parts.The first part:introduction. This part introduces the background and meanings of this paper. According to the research abroad, I make a literature review and illustrates the basic idea, content and research methods of the paper, expounds my innovation and deficiencies.The second part:the brief introduction of university students' Death Education.This part research the connotation of the Thanatopsis,the traditional view of death and the Marxist Death Viewpoint,to further introduce the connotation, content and significance of the Death Education.The third part:Death Education and the university students' Ideological and Political Education.This part introduce the theoretical basis of university students' Death Education,and elaborate the theoretical link between the Death Education,the subjective Ideological and Political Education.The forth part:the review of university students' Thanatopsis and Death Education.This part use the questionnaire to observe the present situation of university students' Thanatopsis and Death Education.Then to analysis the causes of problems in university students' Thanatopsis and the main problems of the university students' Death Education according to the questionnaire.The fifth part:the countermeasures of university students' Death Education.This part start with the principle,objective and methods of university students' Death Education,and put forward solutions to the problems of the contemporary university students' Death Education.
