This research further demonstrates that WTLM learning strategies can improve the effectiveness of high school math teaching through implementation.In this research, high school students are the objects and there are three stages:The first one is a questionnaire investigation about the present situation of high school math learning strategies and related data analysis; The second is lectures and model classes (making use of metacognition theory) for the high school students to make a comprehensive introduction to WTLM learning strategies; The third is teaching practice. At first, students' application of learning strategies are monitored and adjusted. Then when they have a basic command of WTLM learning strategies, they can choose the strategies freely. After that, carry out some case studies of those students. At last, analyze the collected materials and data.According to the characteristics of the study objects and the actual needs, WTLM mode can be simplified into three typical models:concept cognitive model, problem-solving and reflective model, and stage summary model. And the research also finds out the different approaches of improving teaching effectiveness in the three models.Through teaching scientific learning strategies, this research improves the students' math learning and the effectiveness of math teaching. Its uniqueness lies in that this research draws attention to the learners and starts with improving the learners' learning strategies to study teaching effectiveness.
