The purpose of quality education is to enable students to moral, physical and comprehensive development. The main reason for the emergence of "poor students" in teaching is due to factors such as the social environment, teachers'team, family, genetics and learning styles. The problem of "poor students" not only has a great impact on improving the quality of education and teaching, but also puts great pressure on the society and the family. Therefore, the educators pay great attention to this problem. Should not be able to "poor students" to be an effective solution to the problem, we can not implement and develop quality education. Therefore, it is the key to the current educational development to analyze and study the causes of the problem of "poor students", and to solve the problem of "learning difficulties" as far as possible.In reality, the condition of underachievers is not optimistic, who are always "forgotten in the corner". When the society focuses on achievers with big emotion, those underachievers who stay on edge and are forgotten face teacher's denial and family's tears. Therefore, the essay studies on underachievers and analyses the reason of their formation, provides suggestions for their transformation, with the purpose of meeting the demand of constructing harmonious campus and harmonious society, therefore, meeting the demand of "people oriented" and "for every student's development" in new course. Based on the above thoughts, the essay makes analysis with three parts. On the basis of defining the concept of "learning-poor students", this article analyzes and summarizes the categories, psychological and behavioral characteristics of "learning-poor students" based on the theory and practice of "learning-poor students". At last, Learning difficulties students "causes of the problem. This passage mainly analyzes the reasons from family, society, school, individual, and gives some relevant strategy to solve the problems of these students in middle school. We hope that it effect the transformation work to the majority of the educators.The paper discusses the meaning of backward students and the theoretical basis of study. It introduces the concept of the backward students at home and broad, the theoretical basis and the practical basis of the backward students study. It discusses the characters and the situation of the under-achievers in rural middle school of minority areas. It also discusses each type of backward students, the psychological characteristics and the analysis and the causes of the less advanced students. Besides, the paper discusses the cases of the less advanced students change and the thoughts about them, main about the students themselves, school education, family education and social factors.
