Research On Reading And Teaching Of "Lin Chong Shelters From The Snowstorm In The Shanshen Temple" In The Past 30 Years

Lin Chong Shelters from the Snowstorm in the Shanshen Temple, an excerpt from Outlaws of the Marsh, which is one of the four masterpieces of Chinese classical novels, was selected in People's Education version of Chinese high school teaching materials in 1979. Thirty-plus years into researching of Outlaws of the Marsh, the researchers are concerning about Lin Chong Shelters from the Snowstorm in the Shanshen Temple, because of its unique literary value. This paper takes papers and research works which were published from 1985 to 2015, teases out its reading status from the character image and artistic expression and combines with three sets of teaching materials:syllabus version of People's Education, People's Education Curriculum and Shanghai Education version and 16 lessons, summarizes the current situation of the teaching of text. At the end of this paper, it integrates the above researches and gives away some suggestions on teaching methods. The significance of this study is to provide the reference for text interpretation and teaching.It makes students learn some knowledge from it, improves their language literacy and feels the artistic charm of literary classics.
