Research On The Development Of Tourism Higher Vocational Education In Fujian (1984-2014)

Since "Reform and Opening-up", Fujian tourism higher vocational education (FJTHVE) has gone through thirty years in the land of Fujian. And it has undergone extremely difficult days blossoming everywhere in Fujian. Basing on the development of FJTHVE in "Reforms and Opening-up" period, the law of national higher vocational tourism education development, the development characteristics and landmark event of Fujian higher vocational tourism education, this paper adopts the method of Documentary Research, Historical Analysis, Case Research and Statistical Analysis to divide the tourism education history of Fujian into three phases:initial establishment period(1984-1995), reform and development period(1996-2005), deepen and improve period (2006-2014). This paper also systematically studies the development motivation and background which activates Fujian higher vocational tourism education in the respective phases. Characteristics and still-existing problems in different development stages are also analyzed and summarized. Development laws and essential features for Fujian higher vocational tourism education are very explored in this paper. In the end, this paper analyzes experiences and enlightenments of the continuous and efficient development of FJTHVE.
