Research On The Development And Evolution Of Talent Training In Tourism Higher Vocational Education

As the top of the "Five Happiness Industries",tourism has become the strategic pillar industry of our national economic and social development.In the era of mass tourism,the contradiction between the supply and demand of tourism talent in terms of quality and structure has become increasingly prominent,which,to a large extent,affected the rapid development of tourism.Therefore,it is very crucial to build high-level tourism talent.The implementation of such policies as the "Implementation Scheme for the Reform of Vocational Education","Program for High Level of Higher Vocational Education" and "Expansion of Enrollment in Higher Vocational Education",etc.,highlights the importance of vocational education to China's current economic development.The same applies to the higher vocational education for tourism.With the development of tourism,tourism higher education has gradually grown up and trained a large amount of high-quality tourism talent.In the perspective of social transition,it is worth exploring how to cultivate tourism talent,what problems exist,what the reference significance for today's talent training is.Starting from the cultivation of tourism talent in higher vocational education,this paper takes Shanghai Institute of Tourism as an individual case,and divides the process into the initial and exploratory stage(1979-1995),the reform and development stage(1996-2005),and the improvement and deepening stage(2006 to this day).It analyzes the historical background and development motivation of each stage by selecting several main elements such as training objectives,majors and courses,and teaching and teaching staff to explore their development and evolution,reveal their characteristics of talent training,and summarize its achievements and problems.Based on the above mentioned,it is necessary to learn from the experience and draw lessons for the training of tourism talent in higher vocational education.The following results are founded and concluded in the research.Training of talent in Shanghai Institute of Tourism is constantly updated and perfected with the development of the times.Training of talent should be set up and adjusted according to the development of the tourism industry,as well as the connection between specialty group and the industry chain.The curriculum system should focus on the training of the core professional ability,while the comprehensive quality and the innovative spirit should be promoted.The teaching staff should be built up with the theory teaching and practice teaching to form a variety of education modes.The teachers should be trained with high level,and the teachers should be paid more attention to the training of the double quality teachers.Learning from its development,the process of training talent in tourism higher vocational education is the only way to face the international community,relying on the industry is the idea of running a school,and service industry is the goal.Under the background of integration of culture and tourism and integration of industry and education,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures from the three main bodies of government,colleges and enterprises,in order to provide reference for the training of tourism talent in higher vocational education.
