Social Work Intervention In Domestic Violence

With the promulgation of the first anti domestic violence law in our country.Domestic violence once again become the focus of public concern.How to solve the issue of domestic violence.Different research areas have put forward their own programs,included social work.Therefore,social workers how to intervene the problem of domestic violence,the current study does not involve more.This study used the case of social work.Guided by role theory and social communication theory.In the case of the main analysis of the basic family circumstances,Assessment of client needs.Based on setting goals and service program.To describe in detail the process of the author's participation in the service of family violence in the course of practice.The author believes that social workers intervene in domestic violence.We should change the past that the causes of domestic violence is not a simple male to female violence.Analyzing the causes of domestic violence.Following the basic principles and ethics of social work.Help to strengthen the communication between husband and wife in the service period.Learn to self-coordinate the relationship between husband and wife with the social work methods to promote the harmonious relationship between husband and wife.Therefore,social work is an effective way to solve the problem of family violence.But in the process of intervention,the author also has some disadvantages,such as the single intervention method,the lack of full use of all kinds of social resources,in particular,the lack of full attention to the case.The author should summarize and pay attention to these problems in the social work in the future.
