This study adopts qualitative research paradigm and forms a semi-structured interview outline on the basis of literature.Through continuous interviews with 2 male and 3 female college students, the original data are collected.Based on the procedural grounded theoretical model, the researchers used open coding, spindle coding and selective coding to analyze and abstract interview data, trying to explore the current intimate relationship characteristics of college students who had witnessed domestic violence and its complex relationship with domestic violence.Starting with the study of the multi-level manifestations of intimate relationships among college students who witnessed domestic violence between their parents, the author can further enrich and refine the social workers' understanding of witnesses of domestic violence, lay a research foundation for further precise intervention of social workers, and be more conducive to the formation of a more complete service system for victims of domestic violence by social work.In the study, the author found that: first,no matter what the superficial love relationship is,college students who have witnessed domestic violence do not have a sense of security in love.On the one hand,it shows a mature view of love and marriage, and has a clear plan and method to deal with love or marriage beyond the general college students, but on the other hand,it shows a sense of distance, not easy to express their feelings,in fact, lack of security;on the other hand, college students who have witnessed domestic violence attach more importance to the relationship with friends in college, and more importantly,it shows a sense of distance.More emotional involvement in the relationship with friends, through friends to compensate for and develop their intimate relationship experience,so for these people, good friendship during college can help their emotional healthy development;third, the protection of education to college students witnessing domestic violence deserves the attention of social workers. The students interviewed in this study are not as extreme or even serious behavioral problems as often seen in previous studies.A common factor is that they are all college students and successful educators. Therefore, education is not only an influencing factor of academic ability and professional income, but also a sense of success in education contributes to the maturity of individual personality.Fourthly, the cultural perspective is an important perspective to understand this study.Unlike the experience of witnessing domestic violence in Western nuclear families,Chinese families often have intimate relationships with grandparents, uncles and grandfathers, besides parents. These roles are important variables for understanding domestic violence and witnessing children in China.
