A Research On The Adaptation Of Boat-home Fisherman Ashore Housing

Boat-home fisherman,called Tanka in history,also appeared names by Baishuilang or Qutizai.They always work in the sea,take boat as their house,also a part of Min groups in Fujian.With the rapid development of modern social and changes of economic structure,boat people began settlers ashore influenced by a series of policy,From sea to land,it not only changes of the environment,but also the choice for livelihood,social adaptation,self-identity or custom culture protection and so on.This paper selected boat people were settled ashore in fifties of last century by polices.They are directly witnessed the changes in our society of the times,but also the future of China's society participants and beneficiaries.It's a long process for settling ashore,related to the multiple dimensions,including the individual differences within the group,in order to better understand and accurately describe the community of boat people landed settle the real situation,I refereed three levels that economic,social and psychology of Zhuli scholar's view about social adaptation.These three dimensions are interrelated and gradually progressive.Firstly,landed boat people think about how to make-living,because the land is different sea,they couldn't fishing or marine salvage,so economic is a foundation of transition on land.Secondly social adaptation including the extent of the social interaction relationship between they and city people,especially migrants own human capital;also investigated the implementation of the rights of political participation in angle of community-based organizations.In brief,this lever reflects the social integration of migrants ashore.Thirdly is psychology lever,it's about psychological identification,it belongs to the spiritual adaptation,also a kind of assimilation from urban culture essentially.Although boat landings are attributable to non-agricultural household,but they didn't get pension like the city of retired workers.So they feel unfair,this in turn affect the development of society and the country's stability.Therefore,the interaction of these three dimensions are inseparable,and this system can be used to vividly depict adaptation of boat-home fisherman ashore housing.After in-depth understanding of the development process in these areas as well as real situation,this paper also summarize problems about boat people adapting ashore settled life,analysis of the reasons behind these problems and connections,guidance and support correctly development of special groups of settlers,at last,provide practical information and reference opinions.
