At present, the family migration has become the main characteristic and trend of China's migration in the context of urbanization, and this migration characteristic has directly led to the continuous expansion of the size of migrant children.Families are significant for migrant children, but the reality is that migrant children's families present many problems.Previous studies have focused more on family and adult perspectives, ignoring the children's subjectivity. The migration brought by urbanization affects the social representation of migrant children's home, and the social representation of migrant children's home is constantly formed through their own living practices. This research carried out a transformation of research perspectives.Based on the principle of maximizing children's interests and the dynamic perspective of social representation theory, word association was adopted to collect 134 migrant children's words about home through cluster sampling.Thirty-one interviewees were randomly selected by the random number tables from the 134 migrant children.Migrant children are treated as active participants in the migration process. The structural aggregation degree of the social representation of migrant children's home is high, which is divided into a central system and a peripheral system. In migrant children's opinion, home is material and emotional.Home is the pluralistic unity of the material, interpersonal, and ego worlds.Migrant children's overall attitude towards home is positive, but they still have the negative attitudes. The formation process of the social representation of migrant children's home is divided into four stages. In the first stage,it was blurred and overlapping, which was affected by the urbanized social background. In the second stage,it was contradictory and figurative by anchoring and objectifying. In the third stage,it was restricted and multifaceted by communication and the shaping of the representation. In the fourth stage,it was solidified and changing by life practice.By analyzing the social representation of migrant children's home and its formation process, migrant children's homes are understood.Migrant children have instrumental, emotional, and developmental needs. The learning environment is bad,and many contradictions and quarrels are caused by the Material scarcity. The communication methods of the migrant families are improper, and they lack the family interaction time and aren't able to understand each other. At the same time, migrant children lack interaction with local children. The family education method is rude and the content is single.Migrant children are confused about their future plans.According to these needs,Firstly,we should focus on migrant children, respect the migrant children's understanding of home, and improve migrant children's positive perception of home, channel negative emotions of migrant children and focus on their mental health issues, improve their resilience and give play to the migrant children's subjective initiative,to promote their active development.Second,we should focus on intervening with migrant children's families as a whole, and give play to family-based support.Improve parent-child communication of migrant children's families, promote parent-child emotional interactions, and create a good family environment, correct family education, improve the migrant families' educational effectiveness, optimize family capital of migrant children, and promote the migrant families' social integration. Finally,we provide support through the macro-environment,promote mutual growth through home-school interaction, and carry out interactive groups in schools to promote inter-group interaction between migrant children and local groups, tap community resources, encourage community participation, expand support networks, and strengthen migrant children's city adaptation, build a bridge of policies and call for a sound system to promote social integration.
