Entrepreneurship is one of the hot topics in the whole society and today it has become an important part of the development of the world economy.Economic globalization and knowledge economy provide a good external environment for entrepreneurship.In order to provide students with the possibility of entrepreneurship,the relevant departments have promulgated the entrepreneurial education policies one after another.With the expansion of college enrollment in China,the difficult employment problem of college students is becoming more and more prominent.The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China propose to promote employment with entrepreneurship.And college students' self-employment becomes a new way of employment.College students are the high-quality and innovative talents who the country is cultivating and they are potentially the main force of entrepreneurship.It has become one of the focuses of the national education policy and the important content of the entrepreneurship education reform in colleges and universities that how to cultivate entrepreneurs.Based on the background,the subject of this study will focus on the entrepreneurial competence of college students and the cultivation support system.Through reviewing and analyzing the previous literature,it is found that the previous researches on the entrepreneurial ability focus on the theoretical analysis of the entrepreneurial ability,including the discussion of the constructing of the entrepreneurial ability's dimensionality,the description of the current situation about the entrepreneurial ability,the macro macroscopic countermeasures of the promotion of the entrepreneurial ability and so on.However,it is less about the quantitative research on the influencing factors of the entrepreneurial ability.It is related to the complex factors of affecting the entrepreneurship ability which seems to be uncontrollable,such as student background,supporting environment and so on,which makes the school entrepreneurship education play a little role in cultivating the entrepreneurial ability.It brings a series of disputes whether the entrepreneurial ability can be taught and cultivated or not.As a result,it brings about a contradiction between the policy advocators and some skeptics about the role of school entrepreneurship education.Based on this conflict thinking,this study conducts an empirical survey,which trying to answer these questions that what are the influences of the student background,college education system,the business and government support system on the students' entrepreneurial ability.Based on the data collected by questionnaires,the study analyzes the current situation of Shanghai college students' entrepreneurial ability and students'participation in the cultivation support system through the descriptive statistical method.One-way ANOVA or independent sample T test is used to analyze the entrepreneurial ability of students with different backgrounds and the correlation analysis and regression analysis is used to analyze the relationship between the cultivation support system and the entrepreneurial ability of college students,which exploring the main influencing factors of the entrepreneurial ability and various dimension's ability.The findings are as follows:First,the subjective evaluation of the entrepreneurial ability in Shanghai college students is generally in the middle level and there are differences in the performance of different dimension's ability.Second,the evaluation result of students' participation in the cultivation support system have different influences on the entrepreneurial ability and the performance of various dimension's ability.Third,the influence of the students' backgrounds on the entrepreneurial ability is complex and some variables have the significant influence.The paper answers the question about the impact of the school entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial ability to a certain extent,and confirms the effectiveness of the school entrepreneurship education in cultivating the ability,providing the basis for the development of entrepreneurship education and the construction of the cultivation support systems.
