Study On The Family Education Through Poems In Song Dynasty

The family education in the Song Dynasty was developed,but the study of family education by means of poetry was rare.This paper takes the "Poems of Song Dynasty" compiled by the Institute of Ancient Literature of Peking University as the main source of historical data,and finds more than 2000 poems.From the perspective of pedagogy to analyze and interpret the poems and to study the development of family education in the Song Dynasty.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is the presentation of the overall appearance of the poets of the Song Dynasty,including the change of the number,the change of the subject,the sex and identity of the education subject.The number of poets in the Southern Song Dynasty was much more than that of the Northern Song Dynasty.The change of content is influenced by the background of the times.The main body of education was male and educational celebrity accounted for a certain proportion.The second chapter revolves around the content of the teachings,including the moral education,the education of cultural knowledge,the education of the official and the education of production and life.Moral education started on the filial piety;education of cultural knowledge is based on the children of different ages to grant relevant literacy,reading,writing and other aspects of the method skills;the education of the official is out of the glory of the parents and the reward of the emperor's kindness;the education of production and life is for the sake of self-reliance.The third chapter introduces the methods of the teaching in the poems of the Song Dynasty,including verbal directions,the demonstration of the example and teaching through lively instruction.Verbal directions means parents using of certain norms such as "to","no"or "must" to improve their children awareness and standardize their children behavior;model demonstrations give children typical examples of imitation;The rhythm of and other characteristics can play the meaning of the words outside the educational effect.The fourth chapter is concerned with the family education of women.From the perspective of the poems,the women family education in the Song Dynasty takes the parents and the brothers as the main teachers,and the educational contents are mainly about women morality and duty,involving cultural knowledge.
