When taught the Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty by Jiangsu Education Press,students feel somber and bored because teaching method is single when teachers apply textbooks of the version mentioned above.Poems and Words,which were originally full of vitality and aesthetics become abrupt and even fall low to be examples of exercises for practicing.Experiential teaching method makes it easier for students to realize the characteristics and shining points of the contents because it is in line with the features of the Poems and Words.Current study on the textbooks of Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty by Jiangsu Education Press and exploring experiential teaching strategy includes such four parts as the study on senior high school Chinese experiential teaching,study on the textbooks of Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty,study on the teaching method of Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty and the link between National College Entrance Examination and Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty.This thesis aims to explore how to improve the teaching level of Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty by Jiangsu Education Press with the guidance of experiential teaching strategy under the circumstance when study on experiential teaching strategy of Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty by Jiangsu Education Press does not exist too many so far.Experiential teaching method,characterized by subjectivity,creativity and process,involves the experiencers' accumulation of knowledge,living and emotion and is the soul bridge of learners and outside world.Conclusion can be drawn that lacks of reading and reciting in class,shortage of teaching method and utilitarian tendency of teaching goal could be found through questionnaire survey on and interview about current Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty by Jiangsu Education Press.Experiential teaching strategy,the key of this thesis study,tries to change the current teaching status of Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty by Jiangsu Education Press by promoting those teaching strategies of comprehending spirit from reading aloud,establishing and designing certain situation and expanding relative activities.This strategy,based on features of textbooks and students is expected to return its original aesthetics of old poems and words and to achieve the effects of inheriting Chinese tradition of educating people by poems.Besides,it also reflects the shortage of experiential teaching of Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Words of Song Dynasty by Jiangsu Education Press and points out future prospects of the teaching strategy.In a word,this thesis aims to provide new thinking and direction on the practice of experiential teaching strategy and stimulate the development and maturity of experiential teaching strategy.
