Studies On Moral Education Thoughts In The Family Trainings Of Song Dynasty

The family training is the main form and carrier of the traditional family education in our country,and it is also an important part of our traditional culture.The family training experienced a long process from the verbal form to the later literature.To the Song Dynasty,the family training carried out a qualitative leap and achieved prosperity.It is not only the function of family training itself,but also has the political,economic and cultural factors.The prosperity of family training in the Song Dynasty is the inevitable result of the development of family moral education.It also has a profound influence on the practice of family moral education in later generations.Moral education is the main content of family training.On the basis of inheriting the tradition of moral education,the educational methods and contents have developed under the influence of Confucianism,which enriched the thought of moral education in ancient China.For example,it emphasizes shame-awareness,thrift,impartiality and self-denial on the moral requirements.It paid attentions to the environmental influence,model demonstration and so on.In the education principles,it adheres to early education,strict education,theory contacting with practice etc.Family training promoted the family harmony and social stability,but it has limitations.We should correctly treat its duality,learning the good ones and discarding the dregs.Facing the moral problems in our society,on one hand,family moral education practice should make an adjustment to adapt to the era and social changes,on the other hand,we must absorb excellent moral education concepts and discard the dross,combing with the problems existing in the family moral education.Based on the above two points,family educator should raise the awareness of family moral education,enrich the content and improve the family moral education methods.Most important,we should make modernity transformation for the family training.
