In the context of China’s participation in the construction of "the Belt and Road Initiatives",under the environment of national foreign policy support,the development of external sports communication activities has attracted much attention.This study selected "Eleventh Five-Year","Twelfth Five-Year" period of Guangxi and ASEAN countries to carry out sports foreign exchange as the object of study,and mainly using literature,case study,SWOT analysis,expert interviews,field research methods and other research methods,to explore the status quo of Guangxi and ASEAN countries about the sports communication and communication mode analysis,trying to carry out comprehensive functional orientation of Guangxi sports foreign affairs activities,to find out its influencing factors and existing problems,and put forward countermeasures,then summed up the advantages and disadvantages,For other parts of China to carry out external sports communication to provide a reference,the main conclusions are as follows:First,Guangxi has always adhered to the ASEAN countries to carry out sports communication,formed a set of "Guangxi characteristics" of sports diplomacy ideas and methods.Guangxi sports to carry out sports communication activities are: sports delegation visits,held a series of international events,sports foreign aid missions,reception training visits,China-ASEAN sports organizations and other cooperation.Second,the development of "the Belt and Road Initiatives" is the opportunity and challenge for Guangxi,so Guangxi needs to grasp this opportunity accurately and meet the opportunities brought by the national policy.To create a new development of cooperation between China and ASEAN Chapter by avoiding risks.Thirdly,by analyzing the competition model of Guangxi’s of brand sports events,it is concluded that the Guangxi brand sports events are closely linked with the development strategy of the country "the Belt and Road Initiatives",and give full play to the unique geographical advantages of Guangxi.But there are still many shortcomings,such as the proportion of government-led factors is too large,the market is not mature and so on.Fourth,Guangxi has organized a series of China-ASEAN sports communication activities to promote China’s humanities and soft power in the ASEAN countries and then spread in the "the Belt and Road Initiatives" to promote China’s current foreign policy and ASEAN to show a more real China has far-reaching significance.
