| The development of new technologies such as mobile communications,big data,cloud computing has created a new digital environment in which ICT education should be transformed from improving information literacy to ICT competence in order to cultivate qualified digital citizens,especially under the demand of innovative people,ICT education should focus on the cultivation of Digital Learning and Innovation literary.In the year of 2017,the ICT Curriculum Standards in high school has been revised which sets up the elective module of ’Open Source Hardware Project Design",aiming to enhance students’ innovation consciousness and integrate STEAM education and Maker education into ICT education.However,how to integrate the new educational modes is still concerned.According to the practical observation in the classroom of primary and secondary schools and the survey on the implementation of "Open Source Hardware Project Design" module of ICT courses,some problems were existed,such as taking the teacher as the center and student imitating and so on.Based on this situation we try to integrate Design Based Learning into the teaching of "Open Source Hardware Design Project"module in high school and construct the Design Based Learning model.First of all,the curriculum criterion of’Open Source Hardware Project Design"module is analysed and the implementation of this module is investigated among the information technology teachers of the primary and middle schools in A city.Then the suitability between Design Based Learning and the curriculum concept of"Open Source Hardware Project Design"module is explained.What’s more,based on Double Cycle Inquiry model,combined with the problems and subject characteristics of ICT disciplies,the Design Based Learning model is constructed in order to develop Digital Learning and Innovation ability of the students,which is suitable for "Open Source Hardware Design Project" module of ICT discipline in highschool.Finally,this paper turns to explore the teaching practice.We select elective course "Arduino Application and Program Design" of a senior high school as a practical example and carry out a period of one semester’s experiments.By comparing the scores of Digital Learning and Innovation ability,the results of instructional video analysis of the experimental group and the control group students and the interview results,this model is proved to have good effects on the teaching practice,and is expected to provide some guidance for the teaching of "Open Source Hardware Design Project" module of ICT discipline in high school. |
