Study On Father Involvement In Child-Parenting By Group Work

As the saying goes,it's the father's duty on the son's mistake. It has an irreplaceable role in promoting the growth and development of children. Studies have shown that babies with less exposure to the father after the growth will be prone to irritability, poor self-control, low self-esteem, interpersonal tension and other adverse consequences. It can be seen that the father's participation in the children and the positive and correct breeding will play a decisive role in the growth of the children in the future. This study is based on the theory of father's participation in child rearing. From the perspective of social work values, research on group work, so as to spread the correct scientific view of parenting, change his father's parenting beliefs and parenting behavior.This paper takes the S community in Fushun as an example, select the community kindergarten for children 3-6 years old father as the research object. This paper uses the questionnaire survey method to carry on the preliminary investigation and study to the father in the S community kindergarten, has understood the S community's father to participate in the general situation of the Child-Parenting. According to the investigation,the author has found that most of the fathers have some problems, such as one-sided understanding, less time for father to participate in parenting, and low frequency of father participation. To solve this problem, this paper using the method of group work, with his father and the children as the service object in the group intervention, through the development of professional skills and group activities to explore the father encountered in participation in Child-Parenting problems. Promote good communication and interaction between father and son, so that his father more aware of their children.In this paper, the importance of father involvement in the growth and development of young children is obtained,as well as father's understanding of children's participation in the one-sided, lack of participation in family education and other conclusions. In view of this conclusion, the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the following aspects: to set up the correct concept of child rearing, to strengthen the knowledge of child care, and to ensure that the father and the children get along with each other.
