Study On The Correlation Of Father Involvement In Parenting And Preschool Children's Emotion Regulation Strategy

A large number of researches have shown that children's emotional competence plays an importance role in the developing process of his intelligence,personality and sociality etc.Positive emotion is not only the important condition for children to learn and develop,but it is an important symbol of their mental health.How to use the mood adjustment strategy can reflect their emotion regulation ability.Parents who are their main dependents play an important role in the developing of mood adjustment ability.And the Father Involvement plays an irreplaceable in child development.Questionnaire survey of 232 children in fourth kindergarten was chosen by random sampling method.This research adopts many research methods,such as questionnaires and interviews.And the study uses those methods to investigate status quo of father involvement in parenting and preschool children's emotion regulation strategy and the relationship of them.Then the researcher wants to find out the existing problems and put forward some relevant suggestions,which could make the father get more involved and provide bases for children's developing of emotion adjustment competence.The main conclusions are as follows: The father gets more involved in parenting support while gets a little involved in the growth of fatherhood;The father is more concerned about the information of the younger children;The higher the father has the degree,the more he gets involved;Boys are more likely to use abreact to adjust mood than girls;About the influence of father involvement in parenting on preschool children's emotion regulation strategy,the more the father gets involved,the more the children adopt the positive emotional regulation strategy.Besides,it has predictive value on children's emotional adjustment strategies.According to such result,this research makes the following proposals: Firstly,change traditional ideas and promote involvement in parenting;Secondly,strengthen study of oneself and attach importance to the growth of fatherhood;Thirdly,concern for the boy's mood and promote emotional development;Fourthly,choose the appropriate way to accompany children and improve the quality;fifthly,set a good example to children.
