With the development of the theory and practice of family education in our country,researchers have paid more and more attention to the participation of fathers in the study of early childhood education.In this paper,literature metrology research methods are used,and Citespace is used to quantify the statistics of Chinese fathers' participation in the study of early childhood education since the last 28 years from1990 to 2017,which objectively presents the participation of our father in the early childhood education.The status quo of research,research hotspots,and in-depth analysis of the status of research to predict its future development trends.In this study,a total of 345 valid literatures on the participation of Chinese fathers in the study of children's upbringing were searched by using the China Knowledge Base.After statistics on the amount of literature,research methods,authors,research authors and institutions,and research hotspots,the author finds that the characteristics of his father's participation in early childhood education are mainly reflected in six aspects:1.The number of research papers has increased year by year.,The increasing degree of attention;2.The use of research methods tends to be mixed and lacks qualitative research;3.The overall level of research is low,and the authors and institutions do not cooperate well;4.Pay attention to the influence of father participation in parenting on the development of early childhood;5.lack of longitudinal research;6.less research funding.To solve the above problems,in order to further develop and improve our father's participation in the study of early childhood education,it is necessary to:1.enrich the use of research methods and strengthen qualitative research;2.strengthen the construction of research teams and deepen the cooperation between authors and agencies;3.Raise father's ability to participate in early childhood education;4.Strengthen my father's support for early childhood parenting studies.
