Textbooks is the carrier of cultural connotation,it is the main way of the student obtains the culture knowledge.Since Chinese reform and opening-up,in the deepening curriculum reform brought profound influence and change to the textbooks,textbooks contents of the cultural change not only is the product of economic,political and culture at that time,but also is the education thought and the embodiment of the cognition of English education level.This study,from the perspective of cultural chemistry,selects three sets of high school English textbooks since the reform and opening-up,borrowed R.Moran's culture of the five elements theory as theoretical basis,by the form of quantitative through form show the English textbooks content pellucidly,through data analysis of each set of content.From the perspective of microscopic classification from five aspects of R.Moran's culture,respectively analyze the change characteristics of the culture of the three sets of textbooks contents,combining the characteristics of the micro perspective from the macroscopic level summarize the high school English textbooks since the reform and opening-up content change path,and combined with the characteristics of the history and concept of this paper analyzes the causes of path.After analysis found that,the content of English textbooks since the reform and opening-up breadth to broaden,time and practical fit closely;National culture is more diverse and cultural difference of comparative enhancement;Content of culture presentation is more significant and the divergent characteristics such as change,and the influential factors of the culture of English teaching content change path from two aspects of political background and thoughts of education made a concrete analysis of the attribution.Through this study of the embodiment high school English textbooks content and the analysis of the change path,in the review of looking back the history of the present to the textbooks,illuminate the future.
