With the propulsion of quality education and new curriculum reform,the cultivation of practical ability has attracted more and more attentions.So,it has been an inevitable trend to carry out practice teaching comprehensively in geography.The acquisition of lots of geographic knowledge needs students' direct perception,firsthand experiences,and actual practices with their brain,mouth and hands for geography is a subject with strong practicality.The development of practice teaching in geography is of great significance.It can urge students to master and use their knowledge,experience the relations between geography and real life and strengthen their enthusiasm to explore geography problems during the process of their practice.Besides,students' observation competence,practical ability,innovation capacity and cooperation ability will be fostered,which is beneficial for promoting quality education in full operation,and promoting the comprehensive development of students.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out the teaching of geography practical activities.Based on the methods and theories of data studies,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis,this article conducted a deep-going research on high-school geography practice teaching in Guangzhou.This thesis aims to analyze the shortcomings and problems in geography practice teaching in Guangzhou's high schools and put forward some specific countermeasures to promote the successful development of geography practice teaching in high schools.The implementation situation leaves much to be desired and there still exist many problems such as: students' low enthusiasm,inadequate practice teaching,insufficient support from schools and parents,lack of timely instructions and evaluations.In this paper,the main reasons of those problems are further analyzed and strategies to optimize the high-school geography practice teaching are proposed: to confirm students' subject position,to organize geography practice activities by usingU-Learning technology,to strengthen the support of geography practice teaching,to establish a multivariate evaluation system and carefully design the program of geographical practice.
