With the further promotion of the curriculum reform in senior high school,the practical ability of geography has become the focus of the geography education reform.In this new era,the practical ability of geography should be paid more attention to by the contemporary geography educators.In the procedure of geography education,it is very important to improve the students' practical ability and their individual comprehensive quality.The investigation and Research on the current situation and level of students' practical ability of Geography in Urumqi is not only very important for the future reform of geography education in Urumqi,but also has certain reference significance for other regions in Xinjiang.Through combing the expert literature,studying the curriculum standard of core literacy,investigation and interview,this study conducts random sampling investigation and interview for students of different grades in different schools,in order to deeply understand the real situation of students.And to investigate and interview teachers from different schools,so as to fully understand the current cultivation of geographical practice and its existing problems on geographical education.In view of the current situation and practical problems in the cultivation process of Geographical Practice of senior high school students in Urumqi,combined with the actual situation of the region,this paper puts forward a multi-dimensional strategy to optimize the cultivation of geographical practice.The paper mainly includes the following four parts:The first chapter is the background and significance of this study.In the literature review part,it explains the main problems which are expected to be solved,the basic ideas,research methods and the basic framework of this study.This part selects the related literature of the geography practice and the geography practice training strategy.And the relevant research results and existing problems are summarized.Through the review of the study,this paper resolves several doubts that perplex the study,and clarifies the research direction and research emphasis.The second chapter is the part of related conception and theory,which presents the theoretical basis of this study,and defines the related conceptions.On the one hand,it explains the importance of this study from the theoretical point of view;on the other hand,it clarifies the choice of geographical core literacy,and points out the role of geographical practice as an explicit indicator of geographical core literacy in the process of curriculum reform.The third chapter is about the processing and analysis of the survey data.Based on the sample data of students and teachers obtained by stratified sampling,and the field observation and interviews with some students and teachers,the paper analyzes the current situation of geography practice of senior high school students in Urumqi and compares the level and training difference of geography practice of students in different batches of schools.It is found that the current interpretation of the new curriculum standards in schools is not enough.On the one hand,the interpretation of the new curriculum standards exists only in books or on papers.On the other hand,students think that the new curriculum reform is to free themselves and that geographical practice is to play outside.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the training measures,mainly combining with the current situation of Urumqi senior high school students' geographical practice training to adjust the teaching strategy,and give some feasible plans,and suggestions for the problems existing in the current students' geographical practice training.The first is to improve students' geographical practice through task-driven teaching method;the second is to improve students' geographical practice through digital technology;the third is to improve geographical simulation experiment teaching;the fourth is to combine multiple forces and promote outdoor practice;the fifth is to strengthen the interpretation and training of curriculum standards,not only for teachers to understand the curriculum standards,but also for students to practice the spirit of curriculum reform and strengthen training.Let students realize the significance and importance of practice.
