Physics is an experimental science, physical experiment is one of the most important part in physics. The discovery of the laws of physics,the establishment of the theory and the development of physics, cannot do without experiment, they must be strictly based on physical test, and by experimental test. Therefore, physical experiment plays an important role in the establishment and the development of physics, it also plays an important role in promoting the development of other science and engineering technology. It is self-evident, physical experiment is of extraordinary significance for physics teaching. Full-time compulsory education curriculum standard explicitly pointed out: the experiment teaching is the implementation of physics curriculum goal, and it was an important way to improve the scientific literacy of students. The experimental teaching plays a promoting role in the implementation of new curriculum. Physical teaching instrument for teachers, as weapons for the soldiers.Physical experiment has the function of supplement and extension to physics teaching,and it enrich the classroom teaching. To complete the require in teaching experiment,the choice of appropriate experimental instrument is very important, but the market is not consistent with the physical experiment instrument by teaching requirements, in order to make the teaching to achieve the intended purpose and effect, teachers should be according to the actual situation of teaching design, selecting suitable materials and self-made teaching instrument to be used in classroom teaching. Self-made teaching AIDS is one of the most important means to realize the physics teaching, it can cultivate the ability of observation and practical, it is also an important way to promote the students’ innovation, develop the Non intelligence of students.Self-made teaching AIDS is the foundation of knowing the facts and understanding the basic physics concepts and laws. Self-made teaching AIDS plays a positive role in cultivating students’ creativity and expanding their thinking, it also resolve the shortage of the present instrument. So, if condition permit, teachers should make some AIDS by themselves to improve the experiment condition. Because of the ad-vantages of self-made teaching AIDS, modern education attaches great importance to the self-madeteaching aids, and it is promoted and carried out.Under the background of the new curriculum, through the application of self-made teaching AIDS in middle school physics teaching and combined with my own making practice, I narrated the understanding of self-made teaching AIDS and the commonly method of self-made teaching AIDS. Using the self-made experience to describe the process of AIDS making and introduced the specific application of self-made teaching AIDS in the demonstration experiment, student experiment,students’ Extracurricular Science and technology activities and in family. Hoping that through this study, more physics teachers will a-dd to the self-made teaching AIDS,and self-made teaching AIDS will get the promotion, so as to improve the quality of physics teaching, promote the students’ all-round development, in order to get with the society’s demand for talented people.
