Vector theory is active in various disciplines of mathematics,at the same time it is an indispensable tool in the modern physics and other fields of science and technology.In the high school mathematics textbook writing of vector content arouse more and more people’s attention.This thesis uses ten sets People’s Education Press House published mathematics textbook of high school from 1949 to now as the object of this research,in order to clarify sets of changes of the vector content in the textbook.The main researches are as follows:First of all,according to the high school mathematics curriculum standards(syllabus),the thesis divides five stages to summarize and analyze the vector content structure of "People’s Education Press House" published mathematics textbook of high school.Then,this thesis expatiates on the changes of the vector content in the textbook,and discusses the reasons of the changes from these three aspects which are the definition of the vector,the theorem proving,the arrangement of the examples and the exercises.Finally,on the basis of the above researches,the thesis summarizes the characteristics of vector content in high school mathematics textbooks from 1949 to now,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the vector content arrangement in high school mathematics textbooks,and according to the changes and development trend of contents provide the preparation and revision proposal of the future vector content textbook.
