Study On The Content Changes Of Circle In Junior High School Textbooks (1951-2012)

Circle is one of the common geometric figures,and also one of the most basic figures in plane geometry.Many properties of circle reflect the relationship between quantitative change and qualitative change,general and special relationship,contradictory unity of opposites and so on.Because of the preliminary understanding of the relevant contents of the circle from the primary stage,junior high school has carried out effective expansion and deepening on this basis,while in senior high school it has laid a solid foundation for the chapter of solid geometry,so the circle is an important part of the geometry of junior high school,which plays a role of carrying on the previous and the next.From 1951 to 2012,the content of "circle" in junior middle school mathematics textbooks published by people's education press was taken as the research object,which clarified the changes of setting circle content in junior middle school mathematics textbooks,and analyzed the reasons of setting changes.The specific research is as follows:First of all,according to the junior high school mathematics curriculum standard(or syllabus),this paper sorts out the changing arrangement of round content in the junior high school mathematics textbook of "Human Education Edition" in six different stages;Secondly,the definition of circle,the proof of theorem and converse theorem,the arrangement and setting of examples and exercises are described in detail,and the reasons for the changes are analyzed;Finally,on the basis of the above,this paper summarizes the characteristics of the changes in the content of the circle in junior high school mathematics textbooks from 1951 to 2012,and gives suggestions for the compilation of the content of the circle in the textbooks in the future.
