| In China’s social transition period,the acceleration of urbanization has an important impact on reform and development of education.The State Department enacted and implemented documents to plan and readjust legitimately,and then held an important meeting.Since the second round of the layout of compulsory education rural schools readjusted,most elementary schools have been stopped.Students in rural schools have no choice but to study go into town.Most parents choose to accompany their children,rather than let them board at schools.Due to various reasons,many students are companied by their grandparents,then came the question whether alternate-generation education has a great effect on children’s growth and study.As a social normal phenomenon,alternate-generation education has always being the focus of public attention.Alternate-generation education in families of accompanied study has showed the drawbacks in education,daily life and economy.Social work is usually carried out on case work,group work or community work,which has unique advantages in using professional theories and methods to solve problems.According to study results of last time and typicality of case background and questions,I chose two students from boarder yellow banner M middle school as case studies.With all aspects’ permission and support,I began to intervene cases.First,I selected a few alternate-generation education families who accompany study in primary and middle schools to survey by questionnaires as samples.Meanwhile,I looked up amount of documents.Then clarified situations and investigated further to discover why.Through participant observation and depth interviews in the process of intervene,I kept using one-on-one service with my clients and communicating with their grandparents,parents and teachers simultaneously.After jointly formulated service objectives with my clients,I carried out service plans by using theory of family life cycle,intergenerational relations,strengths perspective and social support networks to help them achieve the objective of these three dimensions,including capacity building,psychological adjustment and social support.Several stages later,they had achieved service objectives basically.With the assessment complete,the cases could be closed and followed-up.In the end,according to my field visit and involved actual situation,I made some proposals to how to avoid alternate-generation education problems of accompanied study and how to do worthy social work,aiming at providing reference for solving alternate-generation education problems in families of accompanied study. |
