Teachers' professional development is an important channel for teacher development,as well as a key guarantee to improve teaching quality.With the deepening of educational reform and the shift in educational concepts,teachers' professional development is changing constantly.Based on the track of a teacher's self-professional development,this paper reflects on the experience and deficiency in the existing professional development,and conceives the future teachers' professional development on this basis.The changes in teachers' professional development are comprehensive,including development goals,policy guarantee and forms of teachers' training.Specifically,the development goals gradually change from "disciplinary type teachers" to "research-oriented teachers" and "educator teachers";the policies change from launch and advocacy by the country,provinces and cities to schools' launch,and from single subject to multiple subjects;the forms of training present a diversified,comprehensive development tendency.The effects achieved in self-professional development are remarkable.However,the existing problems are prominent: the teachers' educational faiths are confused,the professional development has a skillful tendency,the subject teaching is institutionalized,the professional autonomy is lacking,the role definition is narrowed,etc..Confronted with these practical problems,in combination with the practices of self-professional development,teachers' professional development needs comprehensive reform in many aspects,so as to promote teachers' existence value.Firstly,teachers should explore the significance of professional development,and establish new self-identity;secondly,schools should set up a variety of platforms to facilitate teachers' professional development;thirdly,in terms of social environment,we should strive to create a social atmosphere of respecting teachers and teaching.Teachers' professional development is a long process,and we shoulder heavy responsibilities for rethinking and construction of teacher profession.
