Mathematics, regarded by Plato as the supreme ideal of human culture,is an important part in mankind's culture. However,in the real class, students tend to hate Math lessons in that most Math teachers only attach importance to the knowledge and basic technology of Math and pay little attention to Mathematical culture. Therefore, this essay discusses the permeation of Mathematical culture mainly from five perspectives: Mathematical spirit, way of thinking, research methods, reasoning modes and the focus of problem-solving.This essay combs the current research status of mathematical culture by means of literature review and has access to know how well Math teachers understand it through a survey. It reveals by means of case study the fact that cultural permeation in elementary school mathematics should be carried out according to four principles, namely, democratic, zetetic, mathematical, and cultural. In addition, based on the teaching cases of four fields, this article discusses the establishment of themes on Mathematical culture in the aspects of introduction to the history of Math, the essence of Mathematics and Mathematical thinking. It is also stated that in the process of establishing a theme,Mathematical spirit, research methods, way of thinking and reasoning modes should be concerned, combined and implemented. At last, this article puts forward three teaching strategies for permeating Mathematical culture: to explore the value of Math,to penetrate the skills of problem solving, and to permeate Mathematical thinking.
