With the continuous development of Chinese economy,the economic gap among different regions is increasing.A large number of farmers from poor regions are moving to the economically developed areas.Owing to the healthy development of the economy,excellent employment policy,Changzhou attracts a large number of migrant workers.As more and more migrant worker families are moving into Changzhou,the number of their children admitted into the local schools is increasing year by year.However,compared with that of urban students,the proportion of migrant children to become students with learning difficulties is relatively high,and there are many problems in their English learning.In order to understand the problems in the migrant children's English learning,the author spent more than one year studying the migrant students who entered the school in 2014,and then gained the first-hand data about the factors that affect their English learning,through questionnaire survey,interview,literature study,empirical analysis and other research methods.Based on the data of investigation,the author analyzes the factors that affect the migrant children English learning,including individual factors,the social factors,school factors,and family factors.Morever,taking into consideration the actual circumstances of English learning of migrant children in Changzhou,as well as the internal and external factors concerning English learning,the author puts forward some strategies and suggestions,hoping these strategies and suggestions can help to improve the migrant students' English learning.
