| With the rapid development of the information age, the new things the junior high school students now come into contact with are numerous and disorderly. Consequently, what students think are becoming more and more advanced and individual. However, their personalities are still immature, which leads to the increasing number of various problem students. As a head teacher standing at the crossroad of students’ life, it is especially important to give guidance and edification to students. Unfortunately, these situations often occur around us, such as little respect for students, rejection to students’ explanation, judgment based on supposition, loud scolding to students in the teachers’ office, etc. Then, resistance from students appears as a result. Some students contradict the head teacher, but more students pretend to say yes and disobey secretly instead. Sometimes, students even gang up on the head teacher. Gradually, a vicious circle of mutual distrust come into being, which makes the relationship between the head teacher and students cannot stand any test, just like an apple with a good appearance but eaten hollow by worms. If a head teacher cannot walk into children’s heart, his edification can only stay on the surface not pervade the soul, and loses the fundamental significance of education. Therefore, a good relationship and emotion built between the head teacher and students is a vital precondition for achieving the effect of education. Then, how head teachers in junior high schools should build a good relationship with their students is the subject I study. The paper is divided into three parts. The first part is Chapter One:Introduction. It includes the cause of the selected topic, the significance of the study, the previous studies in this field home and abroad, some definitions and the thoughts and ways of the study. The second part is Chapter Two:The status quo and cause analysis of the relationship between head teachers and students in junior high schools. Through the analysis of the questionnaire on the relationship between head teachers and students in junior high schools, I sum up the status quo of the relationship between head teachers and students in junior high schools, point out six main problems existing in it, and then analyze how they come into being through combining lots of individual cases with it.The third part offers some suggestions for improving the relationship between head teachers and students in junior high schools. I divide the establishing process of relationship between teachers and students into three phases, including "to know", "to understand" and "to be soul mates", which are respectively stated in Chapter Three, Chapter Four and Chapter Five."To know", "to understand" and "to be soul mates" reflect the three levels of the good relationship between head teachers and students in junior high schools, from elementary to advanced. In fact, they are not separated in practice. However, in order to make the study explicit, I divide the suggestions into three chapters to analyze. Analyzing in this way is unique to this paper. Moreover, the combination of theories and cases is also what I pay attention to, through which I give my practical suggestions of establishing a good relationship between head teachers and students in junior high schools. |
