Teachers,like doctors,are a high-pressure and high-intensity occupation,which is easy to produce job burnout.Once job burnout occurs,it not only harms itself,but also harms students.The head teacher is a special group of teachers,a front-line backbone in school education,and the most basic organizer and coordinator of school education.The head teacher should not only coordinate the work of all teachers,but also do a good job of home-school communication,class management and student education,support school work and carry out class activities.As a link between school,family and society,head teachers' work is of great significance.Once job burnout occurs,its harm cannot be underestimated.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the job burnout of head teachers in primary schools.Based on the investigation and research on the current situation of job burnout of head teachers in six primary schools in Gulou District of Nanjing and jianye district,this paper focuses on exploring the causes and mitigation measures of job burnout of head teachers on the basis of full understanding and scientific analysis from the perspective of primary school head teachers' work,which has positive practical significance.On the basis of studying relevant theoretical documents at home and abroad,the author takes 150 head teachers in six primary schools in the main urban area of Nanjing as the research sample(139 valid questionnaires were finally collected)to conduct a questionnaire survey,and selects 6 representative head teachers to conduct in-depth interviews,so as to understand the current situation of job burnout of head teachers in primary schools in six tested schools in Nanjing,explore the causes of job burnout,and try to put forward positive mitigation measures for head teachers to reduce and overcome job burnout,thus contributing to the healthy development of education in our country.'This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction,which mainly elaborates the reason of the topic selection,literature review at home and abroad,research significance,definition of relevant concepts,research methods,etc.The second part is the analysis and discussion of the current situation of job burnout of primary school headteachers,mainly through questionnaires and interviews to understand the job burnout of primary school headteachers in Gulou and jianye district.90%of the tested headteachers have different degrees of job burnout,and the difference of job burnout level of primary school headteachers is compared from different variables such as "gender,professional title,teaching age,years of re-serving as headteachers,qualifications of teaching schools".The third part is the main causes of job burnout of class teachers:combining with the existing research and the results of this survey,the author finds that the pressure of class teachers mainly comes from the problems of home-school communication and student safety,but the biggest inducement of job burnout is in class management.The author mainly analyzes the main sources of job burnout of class teachers from three aspects:external pressure,work pressure and self pressure.The fourth part is the measures to alleviate the job burnout of primary school head teachers,which are put forward from the three aspects of head teachers' policy system,school atmosphere and personal growth:implementing the head teachers' professional post system,creating a harmonious working environment,implementing the family-school co-education and other strategies to alleviate the job burnout of head teachers,the most important of which is the head teachers' self-adjustment;The fifth part is the conclusion,summarizing the research results once again.The sixth part is to reflect on the deficiencies and acknowledgments in the research,such as the scope of questionnaire sampling needs to be expanded,and the research conclusion needs to be further tested.Finally,there are relevant references and appendices.The appendices are mainly questionnaires and interview outlines.
