Marital satisfaction is a key factor affecting the quality and stability of marriage. At the same time, marital satisfaction is gaining increasing concern in modern society. However, findings from previous research focused on the concept of marital satisfaction, the empirical analysis and how relationships between husband and wife influenced their marital satisfaction. The results of above researches help us understand marital satisfaction better, but these researches on marital satisfaction still have four shortcomings, research method relatively single, lack of theoretical basis, less involved in personality variables through mediating test, rare analysis of mutual influence between husband and wife's marital satisfaction.Based on Conservation of Resources theory and crossover theory, this study uses dyad analysis to explore the relationships among work resources, family resources and marital satisfaction, and to further examine whether work-self facilitation/family-self facilitation play mediating roles between work/family resources and marital satisfaction respectively. Besides, this study also explores how couples'marital satisfaction effect each other under Chinese culture background. This study aims at expanding the concepts of work resource and family resource based on Conservation of Resources theory, and supplementing the impact mechanism research in the work-family field, and revealing the crossover between work and family field under Chinese culture background. At the same time, this study promotes employee development on the organizational level, promotes the relationships between couples on the family level, and even enhances couples'well-being on the individual level.In the present study, Work Resources Questionnaire, Family Resources Questionnaire, The Work-Family-Self Interaction Questionnaire, and Marital Satisfaction Scale were administered to 258 matched husbands-wives dyads from Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, Shanxi Province and Zhejiang Province. By T test analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, structural equation modeling analysis with SPSS 16.0 and Amos 17.0, results of the study are as follows:1. Marital satisfaction of couples has a significant difference in degree of education, but the difference is not significant in gender, the age of marriage and even type of company.2. Work resources and various dimensions have a significant positive correlation with marital satisfaction, and work resources could positively predict couples'marital satisfaction(?=0.311, p<0.001).3. Family resources and various dimensions have a significant positive correlation with marital satisfaction, and family resources could positively predict couples'marital satisfaction(?=0.519,p<0.001).4. Work-self facilitation has partly mediation effect on the relationship between work resources and marital satisfaction.5. Family-self facilitation has partly mediation effect on the relationship between family resources and marital satisfaction.6. Marital satisfaction has full mediation effect on the relationship between work resources and couples' marital satisfaction.7. Marital satisfaction has full mediation effect on the relationship between family resources and couples' marital satisfaction.8. Couples'marital satisfaction could affect each other, which does not exit moderate effect of gender.These findings indicated that obtaining of work and family resources can improve both husbands and wives' marital satisfaction. At the same time, work/family resources can also husbands and wives' marital satisfaction through the work/family self facilita-tion. In addition, couples'marital satisfaction could affect each other, which does not exit moderate effect of gender.
