In china with the ongoing of higher education reform, there are some certain lack in higher vocational colleges sports curriculum; it includes the teaching form, organization methods and process of curriculum implementation. To the better understand the sports curriculum teaching method of "people-oriented, health first" in higher vocational colleges. In this experiment research combined with the teaching characteristics of sports teaching and the Problem-based learning(Problem Based Learning, PBL). We apply this teaching method to the aerobics teaching process, and did some experimental researches, to make sure whether Problem-based learning method in the process of the use of aerobics teaching can improve students’ability.As the research direction of PBL teaching model in application of aerobics teaching base on literature data, expert interviews, questionnaire investigation, teaching experiment, mathematical statistics and other research methods. Taking 280 students in grade 2014 and 2015 in health vocational colleges for the aerobics as experimental object to study, were randomly divided into experimental group (PBL) and control group (conventional) faculty, lasting for 18 weeks,2 hours per week, every 90 minutes, a total of 36 hours of teaching experiment. Adopt the questionnaire to students’comprehensive ability of the experimental group and control group after the learning enthusiasm of students in teaching, cooperation consciousness and communication ability, found analysis problem solving were investigated. And the students aerobics score were statistically analyzed at the end of the semester.The main research results and conclusions are as follows:1. The study about the students’learning interest in calisthenics and the control group of questionnaire results P values were less than 0.05 after using problem-based teaching in aerobics teaching. Then have significant difference. The experimental group students learning interest is significantly higher than the control group of aerobics. PBL teaching method to improve the students’interest in learning and the ability of active learning.2. After using problem-based teaching in aerobics teaching, the experimental group and the control group students cooperation consciousness and communication ability of the questionnaire results P values were less than 0.05. Then have significant difference, The experimental group students’cooperation consciousness and communication ability is significantly higher than the control group. PBL teaching method to improve the students’cooperative communication ability.3. After using problem-based teaching in aerobics teaching, the experimental group and the control group students find, analysis, problem solving ability of the questionnaire results P values were less than 0.05. Then have significant difference, The discovery of the experimental group students, analysis, problem solving skills are significantly higher than the control group students. PBL teaching method to improve the students to discover, analysis and problem solving skills.4. Through the application of problem-based teaching in aerobics teaching. After 36 hours of teaching, through the aerobics rating.the technical level of students in the experimental group and control group has significant difference at the end of the semester. Aerobics grades results of the experimental group students was obviously higher than that of control group. Problem-based teaching than the traditional teaching is more conducive to improve the grades of aerobics.
