Under the requirements of new curriculum reform, it is required to highlight the principal status of students and pay attention to their overall development The single teaching means and methods in traditional history teaching can hardly meet the current requirements of quality education. Therefore, more and more history educators begin to try improving the history teaching level through the creation of historical context. The creation of historical context is a process to construct a kind of real, visual and intuitive historical atmosphere on purpose and with many methods and means, so as to make the "history" reappear. The creation of historical context focuses on the integration of feeling and situation, so that the historical attainment of students can be cultivated during their active experience and perception of the history. The thesis makes discussion on the application of historical context creation in the history teaching of junior middle school, probes into relevant concepts of historical context creation, analyzes the feasibility of historical context creation in the history teaching of junior middle school from three perspectives, i.e. subject characteristics, student characteristics and learning requirements, summarizes the strategies of historical context creation combining the author's teaching practice, and proposes improvement measures as for the problems that may be encountered in the implementation of historical context creation theories in the classroom. To apply the context creation in the history classroom in high efficiency, many forces should be coordinated based on the creation of classic historical contexts so as to jointly promote the implementation of historical context creation.
