Study On Online Public Opinion Management Of Government Based On Game Theory

With the rapid development of the Internet, various online public opinion events occurred frequently. The Government's ability to handle events of online public opinion not only concerns the incident image and credibility of the government, but also an important indicator of its governing capacity. There are three players in the game of online public opinion spreading, the government, the media and the public. All of them play an important role in the development and evolution of online public opinion events. Therefore, to manage public opinion scientifically, we should focus on the tripartite game of them, then we can find the regularities and problems to help the government to understand public opinion accurately, to manage the online of public opinion and to formulate laws and regulations to guide the online public opinion.The whole idea of this paper is to analyze the relationship between government, the media and the public in the public opinion spreading by the use of game theory and propose the problems and strategies on this basis. From the point of view of the relevant theoretical knowledge of the online public opinion and game theory, the relationship between the government and the media is modeled by the static game, and the relationship between the government and the public is modeled by the dynamic game. Then, a tripartite game model of the three players is modeled, and the result shows that only three players to maintain good interaction and cooperation can all of them achieve "win-win" in the dissemination of public opinion. Finally, some suggestions about how to manage the online public opinion is given at the end of the paper.
