A Study On The Influence Of Residents' Medical Insurance On Happiness

With the development of economy and society,the basic medical insurance system has been gradually popularized rapidly.According to relevant statistics,by the end of 2015,there are about 670 million people and 660 million people in the country,participated in the new rural cooperative medical insurance(new rural cooperative medical insurance)and urban residents basic medical insurance(urban insurance),two basic medical system basically covers the goal people,but it appears that the differences between rural and urban health insurance can bring some drawbacks.So in order to promote the urban and rural medical insurance system integration process,the same year,the state on the new rural cooperative and urban insurance integration issues introduced the corresponding policy requirements.However,the previous study found that urban residents health insurance and the new rural cooperative medical insurance to reduce the pressure on residents to enhance the level of national health conclusions are inconsistent,the role of medical insurance is very limited.Meanwhile,there are many problems of the health insurance system in reimbursement ratio,reimbursement process and fairness,for example,the reimbursement process is cumbersome,the choice of fixed-point hospital is not perfect,and there is medical insurance injustice caused by different level of income.Up to now,there is no study on the overall performance of medical insurance in-depth.The purpose of this paper is to hope through the data analysis and the establishment of models,analysis of the new rural cooperative and urban residents and residents of the relationship between happiness.As a comprehensive indicator,happiness covering the assessment of all aspects of health insurance,like whether health insurance help to reduce the health burden of residents,whether it is to improve human health,the effectiveness of the policy and if there are non-standard phenomenon in the implementation of the process of reimbursement and some other problems.It is of great significance to comprehensively examine the economic and health performance and the effectiveness and fairness of residents' medical insurance system.It is helpful to solve the dilemma of medical insurance and put forward some effective improvement measures.Based on the panel data of China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)2010,2010 and 2014,this paper examines the impact of urban residents 'health insurance and new rural cooperative health on happiness,and further examines the difference that the insurance have in various residents.In the analysis,we construct a double fixed effect model,which can effectively control the influence of unobservable factors on the results and make the results more accurate.The empirical results show that for the total sample,both of the new rural cooperative medical insurance and urban residents have a significant positive impact on residents' happiness.Joining the new rural cooperative can improve the happiness of rural residents in 0.4367.For non-working groups,to participate in the urban residents can improve the happiness 0.1041,for non-work and self-employed groups,it will improve the happiness in the level of 0.1079.In the regression of gender grouping,the empirical results of the new rural cooperative medical insurance and urban reside insurance show that the participation of male groups in health insurance would significantly increase their happiness while the impact on female group insured is not significant.For the participant of the new rural cooperative medical insurance,the higher the level of their education,the more aware that the protective effect that health insurance can bring,then there will be stronger sense of happiness.But,for the urban reside,people who have a higher level of education will have lower standard of happiness.The main reason is that the higher education level of the participants,the more acquaintance of health insurance,but because of the existing of many defects of health insurance system,the implementation of the system did not achieve its expectations,and it makes a weak sense of happiness.In the area group,the residents of the eastern and middle regions participating the new rural cooperative society can make their sense of happiness significantly improved,and the western residents' impact is not significant,for the urban reside,there is no significant influence for all areas.In the grouping of the age,the results of the empirical analysis show that only the rural elderly people joining the new rural cooperative health will have a significant impact on their happiness,and the influence of other groups is not significant.And the impact of joining urban reside on happiness is also not significant,which is relevant with the current maldistribution of urban and rural medical resources and the problems that the health insurance have.According to the empirical research results of this article,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to deepen the reform of the medical insurance system and improve the happiness of the residents:strengthen the rural education investment and the publicity of the new rural cooperative medical system,increase the residents' understanding of the medical insurance and improve the education level of the farmers.Also,the government should strengthen the supervision of designated hospitals and relevant departments to reduce the provision of excessive medical services and the behavior of driving up the drug prices,and the government should force them open the relevant reimbursement policy and simplify the health insurance reimbursement process,promote the new rural cooperative and urban reside merger and reduce the urban and rural differences,promote the fair distribution of medical resources in urban and rural areas and regions.
