Our country is carrying on the acceleration of urbanization,a large number of rural household registration population come to the citizens of urban life for different reasons in the every year,China called such a group of people as new citizens.However,in the new public family is also growing up the newer generation,namely the new citizen children.In recent years,with the development of new citizens' children groups,the problems of new citizens' children have aroused widespread problem in society.Social work as a demand-oriented professional,should be selected according to the needs of service client,determine service content,as the government's bridging behavior to vulnerable groups and marginalized groups to give some helps and supports.This paper takes the new citizens' children as a service object,taking Lanzhou city x community as a project pilot to study the growth demand problem of new citizens' children from the perspective of social work.Workers through observation and interview method,the children of new citizens living needs,learning needs,emotional needs,hobbies,investigation and analysis of hopes and aspirations and other aspects of the settings for the X community,the children of new citizens growing demand for activities,such as,“Le Kang Security Package”,“The Together Happy Growing”,“A Happy Growing Camp”,“The Angel Mailbox”,“Flying Dream”and other activities with the children of new citizens access to the social protection needs,obtain the needs of all-round development and get into the society needs,improve the parent-child relationship need to obtain academic counseling needs.Finally,combined with the experiences and project evaluation to explore the general activities of children meet new people growing demand for services the implementation of the path which meets the northwest region of the children of new citizens growing demand for services of general mode.
