The effects of the earthquake are destroyed, including the physical level、theplunder of life and the destruction of the social structure. In the face of the huge pressure，children as a special group will often be enormous damage. A single child tend to live in aparticular family environment. Families are the cells of the society.It is the microcosmicaspect of society. Children’s needs are satisfied in the families. Because the children havemore demands in material, security, psychological, the influence of the earthquake disasteris more obvious. In the process of service, the author also found that manyl sorts of abnormalphenomenon after the earthquake mostly can find the root cause of the problem from thefamily, whose harmonious can easily be seen in the children. So we took the study ofchildren from the analysis of the families.In view of the problem of families function under the earthquake, social workers triedto use group work for children with an environment of "family". Children’s materialneeds, security needs, learning needs, demand and attention, love needs can be satisfied in theteam. So the children can be quickly recovered from the effects of the earthquake.At the sametime, we took the method of case work to individual special family and the final foothold isstill the group work. By case counseling, children can correctly know themselves and thesurrounding environment, and they can participate in the group process.The full text mainlydiscusses from the four aspects.First, the effect of earthquake disasters on family parenting function are analyzed.Earthquake disasters mainly have an effect on family material aspects, child safetyprotection, children’s learning, children’s company， child care, children’s subjectiveexchange aspect and so on. In this paper, we use the questionnaire survey to collect data,using SPSS software for statistical analysis.So we can controal the raising function of thefamilies after the earthquake.Second, we analyze the process of social work.It is in view of the earthquake disasterinfluence on family raising function. Respectively, we analyze the the process of social workfrom the four aspects,incluing interventional targets, intervention strategy, planning anddesign, step in process. At the same time, the intervention of social work is divided into group intervention and case intervention, while group intervention is the main aspect. Group workshare an environment of "family" for the children. According to the principle of meeting thedemand of children，it involved in the activities of heiping each other，feeling love，learning.Third, we assessed the process and results of social work accordingly. Evaluation ofteam work and case work were evaluated respectively. The objectives goal and tasks goal ofprocess were evaluated in the group work.The evaluation of case work is mainly divided intoto the the measurement of service object and the evaluation of social workers.Fourth, it is the reflections on the post-disaster social work,incluing reflections on thesocial work value concept, by the director in the principle of "self-determination" in the groupwork not enough thorough, the implementation of the "one size fits all" and individualdemands, localization and so on.
