Chinese traditional music culture,inherited through generations,refers to the music create by Chinese nation and its ancestors with excellent ethic features,long history and profound contents.Primary school,as the initial stage of accepting systematic education,is of great importance of children's enlightening,promotion of ethic culture,and motivation ethic confidence,through learning our traditional music culture.And for schools,it is one of their social responsibilities to improve students' literacy in traditional music culture by music lessons in primary schools so that pupils attach joy while learning for traditional culture lessons getting rid of fomer monotony and its extraordinary part can receive promotion as expected.Thoroughly analyzing the current situation of our music education in primary schools,the paper researches on potential problems and further get into specific strategies for enhancing students' legacy of Chinese traditional culture during music lessons.Based on the primary education,it works out new modes and new ways that make difference on facilitating their traditional cultural legacy through lessons.And as a great treasure in Chinese traditional culture,traditional music culture needs to be introduced to classes.What's more,it's a desperate demand for the development of primary education that the educational resources inside are explored.By the way of investigation,the paper did research on music teacher and students in five primary schools in form of questionaires and interviews so as to have access to the current situation of primary education on traditional music and students' legacy of traditional culture,together with problems teachers encounter in the process of teaching,attitude teachers take on towards traditional music culture,their acceptance of books used in classes and etc.The author finds the following problems with promoting legacy of traditional music culture in the process of traditional music lessons.Improper assessments are posed on legacy of Chinese traditional music culture by family and society,to some extent,resulting in children's isolation with traditional music.At the same time,the opinions of students and teachers differs in whether it is appropriate to appreciate and love traditional music and the unsatisfactory condition of music teaching in a number of primary schools restrains its development.Facts that account for these aweful phenomenon is that music in primary education isn't attached much importance,teachers lack motivation to dig into teaching traditional music culture,few relevant activities held for students to learn and practice,the content and form of music lessons desperately demand improvement and few scholars are willing to study on traditional music education.In conclusion,the following suggestions should be given based on research findings:First,we need further study of music course and scientifical design of traditional music cultrue teaching.Second,we could optimize traditional music teaching methods to go deep in traditional music.Third,we could improve our teacher staff by learning traditional culture.Forth,we should improve the evaluation system for primary school students' music cultural literacy.
