Analysis Of Exploration Column And Dicussion Of Teaching Strategies In High Geography Textbook Published By SMP

As the new geography curriculum constantly goes deeper,the new high geography textbooks published by SMP are used in all parts of china.The new curriculum reformation focus on that the student explore geography problem and it emphasize that develop the student’s geography core quality.The exploration is very important to develop the student ability in high school geography textbooks published by SMP.This paper focus on the research of exploration,then theoretical basis of exploration column is discussed by the construction of learning theory,AuSubel’s significant learning theory and the humanistic learning theory.With the key point of species of exploration,thirty-seven exploration divide into reading and analyzing figure,exploring experiment,reading and thinking,exchange discussion in the three high school compulsory geography.Then I sum up diversity of the content,practicality of the form,openness of the teaching,autonomy and participatory of the learning style and detailedly illustrate that the different kind of exploration present the different teaching function.I designed corresponding questionnaires of teacher and student for teaching implementation situation of high school geography textbooks published by SMP and analyzed and discussed the result of questionnaires by mathematical statistic.I found the following three problems in exploration column teaching: Firstly,the teachers didn’t percept enough about exploration that use it at low frequency.Secondly,the students didn’t have high participation passion and lack autonomy.Finally,it was influenced by objective conditions.With these problems and exploration teaching examples,this paper proposed the following three implementation strategies: Firstly,the teachers’ guiding function should be strengthened in exploration teaching.Secondly,the students’ dominant role and participation passion should be increased in teaching.Finally,teaching strategies of four exploration columns should be proposed by constructing a good teaching environment,based on the features of exploration column.
