The teaching of writing is always the important part of the Chinese teaching of Junior middle school.Whether the writing can be written well exerts a significant effect on the results of the Senior high school entrance examination as well as the further study and development for students.Whether the ability of writing is good or not is an important standard to measure comprehensive ability of students' Chinese studying.Therefore,all schools pay much attention to the teaching of writing.The Second Middle School of Erenhot Citylies in a border town,bordering Mongolia.It is an full-time ordinary middle school,In the last few years,there are more and more problems for students in the process of writing,which cannot meet the increasing demand of the society.It is urgent that the schools do more in-depth study on composition teaching.This paper,with the Chinese teachers and some students as the objects of investigation,presents a research and analysis on the teaching of writing in the Second Middle School of Erenhot City by comprehensively applying various research methods.It has a detailed understanding of the current situation of that school through making questionnaires and interviews in order to find out the problems and the common defects of most Chinese teachers on teaching.Some corresponding solutions can be explored and put forward then.It learns about some situations about students' writing in detail,as well as their confusion and difficulties during writing,based on some questionnaires and interviews of students.It can find a way to solve the problems of composition teaching through studying and analyzing the data obtained.There are some strengths and weaknesses in the teaching of writing inthe Second Middle School of Erenhot City.The Chinese teachers there have a perfect mastery of teaching,a dedication to their work and a strong sense of responsibility.What the teachers do can be supported by the school leaders.The students there have respect for their teachers and try their best to do what exactly the teachers ask them to do.But the teachers are less professional,lacking necessary training and improvement for teaching.Because of the heavy work,they cannot make a detailed teaching of writing and they are always unable to do what they hope to do.The students show a lack of interest in writing and don't have a good writing habit.Most of them don't know how to write a composition or to use some writing skills.Be realistic and use the whole power of the school,teachers,parents and students in order to solve the problems of the teaching of writing in the Second Middle School of Erenhot City.The school should increase more opportunities for teachers' training and carry it out.It should also improve the professional quality of the teaching of writing for Chinese teachers and build the atmosphere of the culture for students.Teachers should adopt a flexible and diverse teaching method and focus on the way and the effect of the composition judgment.Parents should try their best to provide writing conditions for own children.Students should cultivate the interest and responsibility for writing and have a good writing habit.
