This thesis, based on the investigation of 350 writing essays from students in the fifth Middle School of Horqin Right Front Banner, Horqin League, summarizes the existing problems, causes and methods to improve the level of writing for the Mongolian junior students. The whole thesis are composed of introduction, chapter two, conclusion, future reference, and appendix, among which the reason, significance, literature and research methodology on this topic are highlighted.The first chapter analyzes the existing problems and causes of Mongolian students' writing in junior middle schools.The current problems are divided into two parts that are the Mongolian grammatical expressions as well as the structure of writings. The reasons are both subjective and objective ones,the former being the students' attitude and the lack of practice and the latter being the community, family, school and teacher environments.The second chapter focuses mainly on the specific methods to improve the writing level of Mongolian students, which concerns the following aspects: guidance of teachers, enhancement of students' efforts and improvement of study environments.The summary part makes a general evaluation.
