With the continuous progress of the new curriculum reform,literacy education has become one of the hot spots of basic education,which promotes the literacy education into a new stage of development and causes great concerns of educators.Ordinary High School Geography Curriculum Standards(Experimental)declares “cultivating geographical qualities of modern citizens” as one of its basic ideas.Geography science literacy is an important part of civic geography literary.As a basic education subject,geography has an irreplaceable role in the cultivation of students' scientific literacy.The geography textbook,which is an important part of the geography curriculum,is the materialized form of the curriculum idea and the specific curriculum goal.It not only restricts the content of the course,but also affects the learning mode in the course activity.The quality of the textbook will directly affect the quality of the course and the teaching,as well as the cultivation of students' scientific literacy.Therefore,the research has important theoretical significance and practical value in the evaluation of geography textbook from the perspective of scientific literacy in senior high school.This thesis is divided into six chapters.Chapter One: Introduction.This chapter includes the research background and significance.The relevant research results of scientific literacy and textbook evaluation at home and abroad are summarized through literature review and the research ideas,methods and innovations are put forward.Chapter Two: Theoretical basis.This chapter includes the theory of scientific literacy,the theory of textbook,the high school geography science literacy required by the curriculum standard.This part tries to provide theoretical support for the research.Chapter Three: Construction of evaluation mode of geography textbook of senior high school based on scientific literary.The construction of static evaluation index system of high school geography textbooks and the compilation of dynamic evaluation tools are completed based on scientific literacy,which is on the basis of the existing researches at home and abroad and the basic concept of high school geography curriculum standards,and in combination with the characteristics of high school geography textbooks.Chapter Four: The case study on the evaluation mode of geography textbook ofsenior high school based on scientific literary.The case study of specific content of high school geography textbook is carried out by using the evaluation mode.There are two parts in this chapter: one is the theoretical text analysis of two versions from People's Education Press and Hunan Education Press and the other is the practical research of the two sets of textbooks and the teaching books.Chapter Five: Results and recommendations.The thesis analyzes and discusses the evaluation results of textbooks of two versions and puts forward some suggestions for improvement through comprehensive theoretical analysis and practical research.Chapter Six: Conclusion.The main research results are summarized and some problems in the research and the ideas and prospects for the future research are put forward.
