| Rural boarding school originates from national boarding primary school,which was first established in the under-populated pastoral area and the remote mountainous areas right after the founding of New China.However,these schools are finally and gradually disappeared due to various reasons.Since China’s reform and opening up,with the development of society and the people’s understanding of the career of education,national boarding primary school was recovered and reconstructed gradually in these areas.Moreover,the school running area is larger than ever.In the 21 st century,boarding schools has become more widespread and obtained further development,which has become an important part of rural elementary education at present,and holds a significant position in rural compulsory education.As the number and scale increases,the research on rural boarding school is becoming more deeply.Many studies have shown that there are many problems exist in rural boarding schools,such as the imperfect of education system,the lack of qualified teachers,the larger study pressure of students and so on.For these problems,some sound and solid advice are put forward positively by researchers to optimize the construction and development of rural boarding school.Since students are education resources as well as education object,thus research paid much attention to the students’ problems in rural boarding school.In this study,we selected the students’ lessons in rural boarding school as research content and made a further understanding and discussion in the aspects of students’ study and development based on the present studies.There are five parts in the present study.Chapter one is introduction which as the fundamental basis for the whole paper,including the objective and meaning of this paper,the sorting of domestic and foreign research results,the definition of the relevant concepts of this research,the theoretical basis,research method,and framework design of this research.The second chapter is about the lessons current situation of students in rural boarding school.In this part,we investigated and analyzed the differences in both day and boarding schools in rural areas,mainly includes the following several aspects: the students’ work,performance,post-class feelings,course arrangements,and curricular contents.The third chapter is about the problems and reasons in rural boarding school.Through these comparisons,we have found the general and special problems in the rural boarding schools and analyzed the reasons for these problems.The fourth chapter is some advice and suggestions for the solution of the problems from rural boarding school.For instance,the formulation of correlated system for lessons,the scientific rationalization for the amount of homework,the normalization of the structures and contents of school courses,perfect the teaching facilities and strengthen faculty to take full advantage of rural boarding school.The fifth part is the conclusion of this study.To the identified problems in the research,we finally draw a conclusion through the investigation and research.In addition,this article discussed the shortcomings of this study and put forward the new expectation for the future research. |
