Concept map is a tool of organizing and representing knowledge,including four parts: concept,node,conjunction and connection.In view of the current situation of the close contact among concepts in high school biology teaching,the concept map is used to organize the knowledge points systematically.On the base of arranging the the research background,significance,current situation and the relevant theoretical basis for the use of the concept map,the concept map is further classified according to the different requirements and different types of concept maps are used for different review contents,presenting in the form of teaching plan.In order to study the using effect of the concept map in the review lesson,the author selected two classes,Class 12 Grade 1 and Class 13 Grade 1 of affiliated Senior High School of Henan Normal University as experimental classes.Taking the PEP "molecular and cell" as the teaching content,the author carried out the concept map teaching for half a year in the experimental class,using the method of bilateral T-test to analyze the biological performance in the experimental class and contrasting class.In the experimental class,use the concept map to review,classify the biological concepts and to carry on targeted teaching.Through the analysis of the concept error rate of each question in biological papers,using different concept maps based on different contents,by the method of bilateral T-test,the author made a before-after comparison of biological performance in experimental class.The study found:(1)The biological performance in the experimental class was obviously higher than that in the contrasting class.The students in the experimental class were more systematic in mastering knowledge and could use the concepts flexibly.(2)The concept system is classified in the teaching of concept map,and the concept map is used flexibly according to different concepts.The before-after biological performance in the experimental class significantly improved.This study shows that: To a certain extent,the use of concept map in biology review teaching in high school can improve students' academic performance,cultivate students' ability of autonomous learning,and enhance students' sense of learning achievement;For different teaching contents and concepts,choose the appropriate concept map to produce process in the classroom.For the concept of less knowledge,make thestudents write concept map by themselves and for the concept of more knowledge,the teachers present a part of concepts and then organize students to complete;Classifying the concept and using different types of concept maps to explain can effectively improve the teaching efficiency.
