With the new round of basic education revolution in China,students' learning mode has been changing from reception learning to inquiry learning.Exploratory experiment is an essential component for inquiry learning.The designs of exploratory experiment is the key to the inquiry experiment teaching,and an important link to cultivate the students' skills to question,analyze and solve problems.Flipped Classroom is a new teaching mode based on learners and information technology.Guided learning plan is designed by teachers to guide the autonomous learning and comprehensive learning for students.Flipped classroom and guided learning plan reflect the concept of "learn before teach",promote the independent learning of students.However,at present,the teaching of exploratory experiment design is still dominated by traditional teaching methods,and guided learning plan has been known as barely practice and exercise,which is not beneficial to the cultivation of the autonomous learning and scientific inquiry abilities for students.According to the above problems,this paper employed the concept of flipped classroom,combined the teaching of guided learning plan with exploratory experiment design and aimed to improve the autonomous learning and experimental inquiry abilities for students.This study focused on provincial demonstration high school students in a county in Hefei,applied methods of literature,investigation,case study and action research.First,the author reviewed the literature regarding flip classroom,guided learning plan and biology inquiry experimental design,and analyzed the current research situation at home and abroad;Second,we investigated the current situation of guided learning plan and the teaching status of exploratory experiment through interviews with the biology teachers from a senior high school,to establish the thinking of guided learning plan,and determine the elements of the Guided Learning Plan;Third,using case study and action research,the author first designed a Guided Learning Plan of inquiry experiment,and applied it to the classroom teaching to examine the rationality of the element setting of Guided Learning Plan.After the correction of the elements,the author established another Guided LearningPlan of the exploratory experiment,and applied it to the classroom teaching of exploratory experiment design.Finally,with the concept of Flipped Classroom,the applicability and effectiveness of the senior high school biology inquiry experimental design were tested according to the student questionnaire of their autonomous learning and inquiry abilities.The results showed that there were six elements were needed to include in the Guided Learning Plan of inquiry experiment design: learning objectives,guided question,basic knowledge for self-examination,linked resources,hierarchical practice and column for recording issues;The application of Guided Learning Plan of biology inquiry experiment design in senior high school not only made progress in the effect of inquiry experiment,but also improved the experimental inquiry and autonomous learning abilities of students,the overall effect has been proved significant.From this study,it showed that the design and application of senior high school biology inquiry experimental design based on flipped classroom played a critical role in the effective inquiry experiment teaching,cultivating the autonomous learning and experimental inquiry abilities of students,and also provided guidance and reference for the front-line biology teachers.
