The ideological and political theory(IPT)courses of colleges and universities play a great role in guiding the students firmly on the Marx doctrine of faith,faith in socialism,the confidence on the reform and modernization,and the trust in the Party and the government.The new situation puts forward new tasks and requirements for the IPT teaching in colleges and universities.The IPT courses instructors in colleges and universities are the spreaders of Marx's theory and the Party's guideline,principles and policies,and the socialist ideology and the spiritual civilization.How to guide college students to correctly understand the current situation of the world is a big challenge for the instructors.Study on factor analysis of the self-efficacy of college instructors on ideological and political theory courses and the effective teaching behavior,can help teachers of ideological and political theory courses clear of their teaching,and strengthen their teaching beliefs.Moreover,the teaching behavior can be fully transformed into the learning effect of the students so as to enhance the quality of students and teaching level.Two important aspects affecting teaching quality includes: self-efficacy and effective teaching behavior.Therefore,it is very important to understand the factors that influence the self-efficacy and effective teaching behavior of college Ideological and political theory instructors.The paper explained the basic concepts and theories of self efficacy,effective teaching behaviors,and concluded the related literature review.Moreover,theoretical research was made on factors the self-efficacy and effective teaching behavior of college ideological and political theory instructors.And then the summary was made on the factors by theoretical analysis,and the analysis on each factor was made by the survey so that the factors influencing the ideological and political instructors' self-efficacy and effective teaching behaviors were determined.Thereafter,this paper analyzed the relationship between self-efficacy and effective teaching behavior of college ideological and political instructors by structural equation modeling and other research methods.Finally,suggestions were put forward for the improvement of ideological and political teachers' teaching activities in Colleges and universities,in order to cultivate more and more successors with Marx's theory of socialist accomplishment for China.
