Study On The Family Support For The Elderly In China,Japan And Korea Under The Background Of Aging

Entering twenty-first Century,the rapid aging process in China,Japan and South Korea has attracted worldwide attention.As a demographic phenomenon,Aging is the result of lower fertility and longer life expectancy.,and this is a sign of social progress.The problem of aging in China,Japan and Korea has been widely discussed.On the one hand,it is fast and high in the world.On the other hand,it is the plight of the elderly under the impact of aging.Family support in East Asia has a long history and is still recognized by people and plays an important role in every country.This paper takes the family support for the elderly in Japan,Korea and Korea as the research object,and takes the aging as the background of the times,and makes a longitudinal analysis of the historical changes of the family support for the elderly in China,Japan and Korea.By comparing the similarities and particularities of family support for the elderly between China and Japan,we sum up experience and find out the problems.Finally,it summarizes the problems and challenges faced by Chinese family support for the elderly.Drawing lessons from Japan and South Korea,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the development of Chinese family support for the elderly.The basic conclusions drawn from this study are as follows:First,In respect of longitudinal analysis of changes in family support in China,Japan and Korea.Since the founding of new China,China's family support for the elderly experience can be roughly divided into the family support period under the support of the state and the collective,the return period of the retirement responsibility and the social development period of the family support for the elderly.The dual urban-rural family support for the elderly development mode is a product of China's special period of industrialization construction in a special historical period.The change of family support in Japan has gone through three stages: the transition of traditional family system after World War II,the period of socialization of family support function and the establishment period of modern family support.At present,the difficulties faced by Japan are mainly the contradiction between the increasing demand for social security and the shortage of government finances.The changes of family support in South Korea also show a gradual change with the changes of politics and society,mainly through the period of social recovery,the construction of welfare system and the accelerated period of aging.Before the arrival of aging in South Korea,the corresponding old-age security system has been formulated,with the characteristics of taking precautions.However,the combination of family support for the elderly and social endowment insurance system is not enough,and the family support for the elderly responsibility is still very heavy.Secondly,on the similarities and particularities of family support for the elderly in China and Japan and South Korea.There are some cultural similarities in filial piety,cultural tradition,family complex and order concept in China,Japan and Korea,It has the same characteristics in the process of population change and rapid socioeconomic development.In the powerful intervention of the state power to the family,it also reflects the characteristics of the traditional oriental social governance.In comparing the particularities of China,Japan and Korea,The performance of family support for the elderly in China,Japan and Korea is different in the way of learning and adapting to the western social security system,and the specific national conditions for setting up the old-age security are different and the historical transition opportunities are different.China can develop itself more independently in the process of changing the family support for the elderly.Thirdly,On the challenges and policy recommendations faced by China family support for the elderly.In view of the weakness of filial piety culture in Chinese society,the level of social security for the elderly is relatively low,the gap between the family support for the elderly and the urban and rural areas is larger,and the degree of the combination of family support for the elderly and urban pension is lower.Combining the experiences and lessons of the family support for the elderly development in Japan and Korea.We believe that China should reach consensus,adhere to the development of social endowment to strengthen family support for the elderly;emphasize the value of filial piety culture,encourage the establishment offamily support for the elderly policy system;keep the subjective attitude,continuity and compatibility on the system.
